In Dinner for Shoes episode 32, Pizza Pies + Marrying the Kais, podcast host Sarah Wasilak talks through the wedding outfits her sister Rachel and Dinner for Shoes producer Megan wore for their Charleston nuptials. While Rachel chose three different looks — a custom sage green three-piece suit from Indochino, an ASTR The Label tuxedo romper, and SuitShop co-ords — Megan opted for a V. Chapman gown from Anthropologie. Sarah talks through the process of designing a bespoke suit with Indochino as well as some of the highlights of shopping at Anthropologie for a wedding dress as a bride-to-be. Since the Kais relaxed and enjoyed pizza pies after their beach ceremony, Sarah commemorated the moment with a slice from Dozzino, her own neighborhood pizza spot.

In episode five, Happy Meal + Outfit Wheel, Sarah introduces her everyday process for getting dressed, and shares two examples by styling outfits from head-to-toe in real time. In this GRWM episode, she starts by preparing the viewer for the madness they are about to endure by enjoying the meal that makes her happiest: a big f*cking yogurt bowl and coffee smoothie, blended in the Ninja. You’ll get to watch Sarah construct looks for daytime and nighttime using her color-coded closet system, and glean some tips for bringing this crazy tactic into your own life.

In Dinner for Shoes episode 37, The Wedding Guest Dress of My Dreams, Sarah talks about the Cult Gaia Enid dress she bought on Black Friday years ago, and is finally getting to wear to a wedding in Hydra, Greece. Working with Alteration Specialists Tailor Shop Manager Yaser Elsafty, Sarah transformed the gown to better fit her height and stripped away inches of fabric so that the dress’s cape can be tied back for warmer weather. In addition to Cult Gaia, Sarah depends on many different brands for summer wedding looks, including Rhode — the label behind the chili red dress she’s wearing. She chats through her top recommendations, enjoys a plethora of dishes you might find on a classic wedding menu from Little Beet, and attempts to calm the cats when they deem themselves wedding crashers and tumble into the reception.
