We started this podcast with the aim of creating a platform to amplify & showcase the vibrant performing arts scene in Uganda. Recognising the power of podcasts as a medium for storytelling and information dissemination, We saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the podcasting landscape and provide valuable content that caters to the interests and curiosity of the Ugandan community both locally and globally. Furthermore, we recognised the potential of podcasts as a medium to reach a wider audience

Our vision is to authentically showcase the performing arts scene in Uganda, while educating, engaging, inspiring, and promoting local talent.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
Ugandan Art Speaks Out.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
The name was my brother's idea. We were looking for a name for our podcast, and he suggested quite a number, but Grandfather's Fireplace struck me the most. However, I asked him to translate it to Lusoga so that it reflects our ancestry, and that's how DHAADHA'S FIREPLACE came about.
