Dodge has been writing for about ten years now, and currently has six books published and on the market.
Dodge says:
"My current genre is science fiction, but I hope to move into other genres one day. Goals for my writing include realism, action, and heroism. I want to show people that heroes do exist, and inspire them to be heroic themselves. Our world may be dark and ugly, but it is up to us to make it bright and beautiful. This is reflected in the title of my series, The S.T.A.R. Chronicles, with the acronym standing for, Surrender Today or Adamantly Resist.
Deep characters with powerful arcs of learning and growth are becoming my newest passion. Even in war, people are rarely truly good or truly evil, and I wish to portray that fact with my characters. The "good guys" occasionally do things that are morally objectionable, while the "bad guys" sometimes show the better side of humanity.
All in all, I want my stories to be fun first, and teaching second."
