Canada Day weekend is something a lot of us Canadians look forward to; the long weekend, the sun, spending time with your friends and family, and finally getting a chance to escape the real world.
In 2016, that is just what Kassidi and her girlfriends were wanting to do. What was suppose to be a fun day/night with her best friends, turned into something that would change the remainder of her life, and every single person who knew her.
