Rather than leave you with nothing for this week while we finalize the second half of this season of Desperado, we're bringing you a little treat from our friends at Wrightwood Studios! Meteor City is an alternate history sci-fi audio drama created and produced by Wrightwood Studios. Wrightwood Studios is based out of the Quad Cities and comprised of a diverse team of writers, directors, actors, and sound designers. Enjoy episode 1 of Meteor City: "Patty Melt". In 2008, a freak meteor shower hit Detroit, killing hundreds and displacing thousands. Hundreds of people were quarantined for radiation exposure. 10 years later, Bianca Diaz, a vlogger returns to Detroit. Wanting a change of pace, Bianca decided to come back home for the 10 year anniversary, to tell the stories of the dead, the missing and the remaining citizens of Detroit, now called Meteor City. Shortly after returning, Bianca realizes that Meteor City, New Detroit and the people left behind are not what they appear to be. One frustrating question after another leads Bianca to the truth... or more accurately the lies that New Detroit was built on.

_Beneath Our Feet _is a six-part episodic drama exploring home and belonging, urban regeneration and community ownership. The series follows 5 young people as they attend an underground rave below their estate, the night before it's going to be bulldozed to make way for new-build flats. Whilst at the rave, the ground collapses beneath their feet, and they end up trapped in a vast underground cave network. They have to use their memories of the folklore surrounding the system - passed down through the generations - to navigate their way to safety, through tiny passageways, across underground lakes, and through doors locked by mysterious codes.

Beneath Our Feet was produced as part of the RESOUND programme - an initiative set up by theatre companies Jump Spark and no more superheroes. to create avenues for theatre artists into audio drama. This series was developed in partnership with Stockroom, National Youth Theatre of Great Britain (NYT) and audio network Fable and Folly. It was funded by Arts Council England. Creators were producers/directors Tash Hyman and Fay Lomas, writers Zia Ahmed, Subika Anwar-Khan, Sam Grabiner, Ellie Kendrick, Tiwa Lade, and Am Stubberfield, with sound design by Alice Boyd and Munotida Chinyanga and composition by Oliver Vibrans. Lead dramaturg Janina Matthewson, consultant producer Ella Watts. Actors included NYT members and graduates of NYT Rep: Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, Jetsun Lama, Nkhanise Phiri, Abby Russell, Bhavini Sheth, Ragevan Vasan, with Diveen Henry as Jessi.
