Instead of competing against each other, Jason and Lisa TEAM UP to battle the trio of Don, Carlos, and Zach in a two versus three battle to the death...well, actually, no one is harmed during the episode (well, maybe Don's mom, but she's ok now). Who wins? Who suffers the punishment shot? And who's comments are the most inappropriate?! It's all good-natured humor and entertainment with your enjoyment in mind.

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Scotch whiskey

1 oz. Amaretto

Combine ingredients in an old-fashioned glass. Add ice. Stir and enjoy!

This Week's Punishment Shot - The Cement Mixer

INGREDIENTS

3/4 oz. Irish cream liqueur

3/4 oz. Freshly squeezed lime juice

Add Irish cream liqueur to shot glass, layer lime juice over the top by carefully pouring off the back of a spoon.

Well, it’s time to move on, with those that survive.

Dead celebrities, the trilogy...Does anyone know? Is Elvis alive?

This week’s topic is Dead Celebrities. In fact, there is so much to cover, we decided that it was time for our first trilogy. This week focuses on TV and film stars. Next week will features sports and sports-related stars, and then we will round out the trilogy with an episode dedicated to musicians and the music industry. I’m excited!

Designated Quizzers is an “ear buds-in podcast”. So put ‘em in now if you need to protect the kids, the pets, or grandma...from us!

Although we are assholes, no disrespect is meant to the deceased, In fact, someone better make jokes about me when I’m dead, so that I know I had an impact on someone's life.

Lisa mentioned our overseas listeners. Well, we also have met some fellow indie podcasters from there as well. We are super excited about our upcoming guest appearance with Tall Boy Radio. Look for that one in early- to mid-February. On February 10th, we welcome The Midnight Train Podcast as our guests. They are a cool group of guys from Cleveland, Ohio and we’ll do 80s hair metal bands trivia DQP-style. We will announce the release dates of other exciting episodes on this show as well as on our Twitter page.

It’s Cocktail Time! - Corpse Reviver No. 2 - liquor.com

INGREDIENTS

Absinthe, to rinse

3/4 oz. London dry gin

3/4 oz. Dry Vermouth

3/4 oz. Orange liqueur

3/4 oz. Lemon juice, freshly squeezed

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Rinse the inside of a chilled coupe or cocktail glass with absinthe, discard the excess and set the glass aside.
2. Add the gin, dry vermouth, orange liqueur and lemon juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
3. Strain into the prepared glass.

Punishment Shot - Hot Abs

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. Absinthe

3-4 dashes hot sauce
