Today I’m joined by Rob Ashton. Rob is a writer, entrepreneur, and former scientist who’s been researching the science behind the process of reading and writing for more than six years. His research runs the gamut of cognitive and social neuroscience, cognitive and social psychology, and behavioral and neuroeconomics. He is also the founder of the global learning company, Emphasis, which specializes in written communication and that has so far enabled over 70,000 people to make more impact with their professional writing. In his estimation, much of the written communication of leaders simply doesn’t work. I’m excited to have him on the show to talk about the importance of the written word in leadership.
