He holds five university degrees from three different universities including his Ph.D. and two M.S. degrees. He was a high school principal at the age of twenty-three and a school superintendent at the age of thirty-four. He has published numerous journal articles on educational topics and retired in 2012 as a tenured professor at Murray State University in the College of Education.
