So today, we welcome Joe Quagliano, president, and Chris Vaccaro, director, of the Italian American Baseball Foundation, doing a lot to merge young Italian ball players with baseball the U.S. #IABF provides opportunities for youth development in baseball and softball, providing education and exposure to young players through clinics, coaching, and more. These two have been committed to this cause since it started, and it stems from their love of baseball and all things Italian. Chris has been a successful media consultant and journalist, and Joe runs Mint Pros, providing VIP events primarily around baseball. Deborah Kobylt LIVE - Dr. Frieda Birnbaum, Author, "Life Begins at 60:
play

09/27/23 • 48 min

Please welcome world renowned psychologist Dr. Frieda Birnbaum, whose book, “Life Begins at 60” has literally changed views around the globe about aging, particularly for women. In fact, Dr. Frieda holds the record for giving birth to twins at the age of 60!

We talk anout changing views on aging, marriage, motherhood, and reinventing ourselves at any age. Dr. Frieda blasts age-old stereotypes, pointing out, “Ageism needs to be redefined. Middle age? That sounds like it's completely down hill! NO, I call it 'Peak age.' 'Grandma' is now someone who travels and goes on trips, not sitting home in a rocking chair waiting for her kids to call. 'Retirement' is now a second career, not sitting in a home waiting for visitors.”

All true. We’ll discuss this, and how women of a certain age are normalizing work and play into their senior years, and looking gorgeous doing it. How do we break down barriers and how society views older women? We talk about that, and certain behaviors towards women that have been used to hold us back. And there’s more. Much more.

Please join me on all video and audio platforms of #DeborahKobyltLIVE. Looking for that next move in life? Our interview may be the place to start. Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
