Anabell Rangel and Mireya Garcia
De La Roots is hosted by Anabell “Anita” Rangel (anabell.bbryley) and Mireya Garcia (la_xinita98), two first-generation students attending California State University of Los Angeles. Rangel is studying Chicanx and Latinx Studies intending to become a professor. She is dedicated and focused on grassroots organizations in her community while dismantling colonialist ideologies and reconnecting with her Indigenous culture.
Garcia is majoring in History. She is currently working with at-risk youth as a Youth Development Specialist at a mental health facility in Ventura County.
