This episode we discuss the suicide that happened at the Delaware County Jail a few days after the "suicide by police" that we discussed in episode One. We also discuss the numbers for suicides and the demographic breakdown as it affects Indiana up through 2019. We share your calls, and we discuss what possible effects COVID19 could have on the very real upswing we are seeing. Also included, a CALL TO ACTION, to join our developing awareness campaign which we will dedicate to the memory of those we have lost to this entirely PREVENTABLE #1 RISING CAUSE OF DEATH. Join us! SHOW DEDICATION: I would like to share with you someone I spoke about on the show that was personal to me. Lynn Nichols. She was a mom. She was a friend. And she just wanted to have someone give her that back, but she did not survive to do it. Instead much to the shock of her friends and family, Lynn made a facebook post that said, "GOODBYE", and she committed suicide. This show is dedicated to her, and to all of our loved ones that we couldn't help in time. In her name, and in the names of all of you who have lost a loved one to suicide in Delaware County Indiana. We are going to foster education, awareness, and make sure we end the year without this pandemic costing us the rest of those we love....with no virus. This is the police call that happened on July 5, 2020 starting at around 2:00am. A call came in for a person that was suicidal. Less than a couple of hours later?
