This week on DC TV Classics, Britney, Desiree, and Keith watch The CW's unaired Aquaman pilot starring Justin Hartley and provide their own commentary track. Now that Aquaman is finally a cool superhero again (shout out former co-host Ken Knudtsen!) thanks to Jason Momoa in Justice League, we revisit the Smallville spin-off that initially tried to Make Aquaman Great Again! Download the episode on iTunes, and follow along as we comment on the Aquaman show that almost was. See Justin Hartley before he was the Green Arrow and before he was The Manny! Afterwards, Britney, Desiree, and Keith break down Aquaman's reputation as a lame superhero and what to expect from his forthcoming cinematic debut.
Before the commentary, Desiree shares her thoughts on watching Teen Titans: The Judas Contract on her birthday, Britney gets excited about the return of Bruce Timm's animated Batman in the just announced Batman & Harley Quinn animated movie!

The much anticipated Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins, finally hits theaters around the world this weekend! To celebrate the Amazon Princess' ascension to movie star status, the DC TV Classics crew looks back at Diana's importance as a character and history as a DC TV icon. Nick Lang officially joins the team as a permanent co-host to remember the TV movie The New Original Wonder Woman, also known as the pilot for the series from the 1970s starring Lynda Carter. They also discuss the just-surfaced test footage for a William Dozier-produced Wonder Woman series from 1967 and compare both takes to the new movie taking the world by storm. They also discuss the trailer for the animated film Batman & Harley Quinn, Lynda Carter's cameo on Supergirl, and why Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain should have shared at least one scene together during the season finale of Supergirl.

The DC TV Toys That Made Us
DC Multicast
01/14/18 • 58 min
Recently, leaked photos revealed that Mattel is working on Multiverse action figures for the classic Wonder Woman and Flash television series as well as the Val Kilmer Batman from Batman Forever. Naturally, this led to a discussion about everyone's favorite classic DC TV-related toy line. Keith, Britney, and Nick welcome veteran toy journalist Luke Brown to talk about the long history of toys spun out of classic DC shows like Batman '66 and the Animated Series -- from the unfortunate to the awesome. Later, the crew shares some of their favorite DC toys, including Lego's massive 1966 Batcave, which you can send to Nick, if you find one.
Actually, in lieu of sending Nick toys, you should donate to Sarah's Circle. Click here to learn about Team Starkid's efforts to raise money for Sarah's Circle.
