Dark Tales from the Road Podcast

Hey friends!! Join me this week as we explore Colorado and a haunted mining town named Cripple Creek.
Weekly I will go through different cities and states to bring you scary, weird or intriguing stories!
Also I want to apologize for the Introduction episode being a mess with the sound. I recorded it twice and it kept messing it up. The Universe was not having it! So it's really loud at first and then you can barely hear it at the end. I said it is what it is and decided to move on!

We are back to another cemetery but one more unique than others. It's a park and a cemetery and work together for the public but it's roots go way back. Being built and open in the 1800's with people from the revolutionary war and civil war with soldiers even from Gettysburg. A beautiful place adorned with unique gravestones even with a birdcage and an iron dog. We explore the grounds of this beautiful yet haunted area. We learn about it's famous residence and some that are sticking around.

Trans-Allegheny Asylum has been through more than some places have ever been. It's history goes all the way back to the civil war and is violent, bloody and has become extremely haunted. A cruel place that took in too many prisoners (also for weird reasons) which came short staffed, murders, violence and massive neglect. Criminals took advantage of the mentally ill and there are so many entities around that still show their anger and violence. Let's go to West Virginia to explore the violent and spooky history of Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is known to be one of my most haunted hotels with stories from athletes, actors, musicians, dignitaries and the general public. Built in 1893 it still shows it's wealth and status and is a top hotel to stay at in Milwaukee. AND have a favorite baseball player? Maybe they have experienced a ghost there? Many have and I have the stories to tell!
