Although they have been beaten down in the market, they still show strong revenue numbers. Which surprises me given the whole logistics mess we had in the past years.

But why not to get out of the market

If you invested $10,000 in the S&P 500 in Jan 2003, It would have grown to $64,844 by Dec 2022 (+548% return)

If you missed the best 10 days during the 20 year period , your returns would only be +197% ( 55% lower) . 7 out of those best 10 days occurred during bear markets.

If you missed the best 40 days during the same period , you would have a lost money.

Time in the markets is more important than trying to time the markets.

$csco beat and the initial reaction was they were down .... Once they started their call they were up - so their guidance was def conservative - cheapest mega cap tech - it’s run - if they are sandbagging next year - this is a really cheap stock

$fbl - 1.5 times $META daily along with others - I like $META going back to $350 and will add more under $300

$AAPL is going back to $200 - $AAPB may be a way to play that

$NVDA - I think this goes to $500 and $NVDL might be a good way to play it if it’s around earnings

$BABA is going back over $100 - $BABX may be the way to play it

$TSLA is going back to $250 - $TSL might be good

After soaring over 600% from its IPO price of $4, $SPGC is giving most of that back on its second day of trade, falling 85%. While it was briefly 2023’s best IPO performer, today’s action clearly shows investors remain uncertain about the company’s future. 🏌️

$VFS Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) startup VinFast Auto cooled after soaring in its SPAC-deal debut yesterday. Shares were down roughly 19% today, though at their peak, the company was valued greater than Ford and General Motors. ⚡

$COIN Coinbase popped as much as 5% today before fading into the red as it takes on Binance in the largest market in digital assets. The exchange received approval to offer U.S. crypto futures trading from the National Futures Association (NFA) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). ₿

August adp number came in line and July was revised higher - wage changes seems to be coming down as well - it all seems to be moderating saying maybe the fed won’t raise

$goog ai day - announced pricing but this is huge

Google's new flagship AI model, "Gemini," is set to be a direct competitor to GPT-4 and boasts computing power 5 times that of GPT-4.

Trained on Google's TPUv5 chips, it's capable of simultaneous operations with a massive 16,384 chips. The dataset used for training this model is around 65 trillion tokens, and it's multi-modal, accepting text, video, audio, and pictures. Moreover, it can produce both text and images. The training also included content from YouTube and used advanced training techniques similar to "AlphaGo-type" methods.

Google plans to release the Gemini model to the public in December 2023.

Remember - $msft won’t launch chatgpt co pilot until later next year they said. Google is first to market here.

UBS says 3 things will sustain the rally

First, investors need to believe that the Federal Reserve won’t raise interest rates beyond the two increases implied by the most recent dot plot, according to UBS chief investment officer Americas Solita Marcelli.

New member here! What is everyone's thoughts on EVGO?

Their Director just bought nearly over 5.8 million shares during the dip. They qualify to tap into the $7.5B Biden grants into EV charging, $10B into clean transportation. They also did better than predicted in their last couple of quarters, but they also suffered from the GM/Tesla deal and there are some other drawbacks but curious if anyone has opinions on them.
