HEY SPACE COWBOYS WE ARE BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER, BUT SADLY THE LIVE ACTION COWBOY BEBOP ISN'T! Today, Da Binge Bois come around to talk about the adaptation that no one really wanted, but Netflix wanted some money so here we are. All of us agreed that while the show doesn't live up to the expectations of the original series, it just isn't a very good show even when you take the anime out of the equation. We talked about how we felt the writing overall was very cliché, with a large use of tropes that none of us find entertaining, such as the spoiled child of someone powerful, a father trying to reconnect with his daughter despite his ex wife having moved on and the inclusion of a step father in the picture, and a HEAVY overuse of damsel in distress. Outside of that, we felt that the runtimes hurt a lot of the episodes and that the show progressively got worse after starting off "okay". At the end of the show we do our classic Whatcha Been Watchin' segment where we talk about what we have watched outside of the podcast where Enrique has been watching Tokyo Revengers, Eli is checking out Dexter: New Blood week to week, and Tristan has started his adventure of consuming an all time classic, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Join us next week where we will be reviewing the Kuroko No Basket: Last Game movie on the air waves!

PS. Ed really wasn't as terrible as everything else with this show

Da Binge Bois - #22 - Kinsey Is Kinky - Locke & Key Discussion
play

11/09/20 • 91 min

Da Bois are back with an interesting show that was heavily contested this week, which was Locke & Key. As always, Da Bois do their classic Whatcha Been Watchin' which was pretty light this week in comparison. Once the main discussion got started, Enrique backed Tristan into a corner about why this show was selected and why he thinks it is good, we talked about how Rufus was the best character in the show, and how Kinsey made the wrong decision in choosing Gabe or Scot AKA Mbappe. If anyone knows how to help Da Bois score press badges, hit us up, we trying to take over the interviewing scene! Join us next week for talking about The Babysitter 2!

This week.......... WAIT A MINUTE! It hasn't been a week! That's right, Da Bois are back and this time it is for a Halloween special, where we talk about one of Eli and Enrique's favorite shows of all time, Supernatural. Before Da Bois have get to the discussion of season 1, they have a quick talk about some of their favorite Halloween shows and movies and realize that Eli never had a childhood when it comes to Halloween. Once Da Bois get to Supernatural, the reigns are off because they come in swinging talking about how Sam and Dean are the biggest Dirty Macks known in television history, how some of the women they meet along the way are WELL HYDRATED, and why outside of the memes the first season is actually genuinely fantastic from a story perspective. AND it got some pretty people in it, men and women. Come back Monday for our regularly scheduled programming with Train To Busan. Da Bois are back! This week we are here to talk about the revolutionary German Netflix series Dark's second season. Before that Da Bois do the classic Whatcha Been Watchin' segment, which only consists of Masked Singer talk due to releasing our Thanksgiving Day Supernatural Special. After a fantastic season one, we return to talk about the equally puzzling season two where Jonas continues on his journey of trying to save the town of Winden via time travel and being cool. Da Bois discuss why Jonas is the best character in the show by far, why Bartosz's name is STILL too difficult to pronounce, and why sometimes dating your aunt might be okay given to involvement of time travel. Join us next week where we will conclude our three-part epic discussion of Dark and maybe have some other shows for Whatcha Been Watchin'.

Its Thanksgiving! And Da Bois refuse to take a break but rather provide extra content with the sequel to our previous holiday special which was a smash hit! (In our eyes only of course because who really watches us?) Sam & Dean refuse to leave any girl, above the age of 18, they meet with their virginity by using their charisma and abilities to save their lives from supernatural (hey that's the show title) creatures. We come in and talk about the entire season and yet nothing at the same time. Sam and Dean must hunt the yellowed eye big boi and figure out the way to take him down. Instead of talking about the plow, we talk about the women they court, the different alter egos that start to appear from both brothers including HEEL SAM and Jesus Piece Dean, and why we think that Jared Padelecki should have gotten a better TV show post-Supernatural than the Walker Texas Ranger reboot. Join us this upcoming Monday where we return to regularly scheduled programming and discuss Dark Season 2, a show which might clean house at the first annual Bingies.

Da Bois are back and this week they are here to talk about Snowden, a biopic about the man of the same name. Before they talk about Snowden, they have a hot and steamy Trailer Trash, where they talk about Riverdale season 5 trailer and the Recipe For Seduction trailer, a movie about Colonel Sanders blowing out the back of his boss's wife. After that they talk about Snowden and how Enrique never wants to watch another biopic again on the show, Eli doesn't care if the government catches him beating off, and how Big Ed Snowden was in fact in love with a stripper. Next week, we are coming through with our final normal episode of the year about, Teenage Bounty Hunters, a Netflix original that is ALREADY CANCELLED LOL. Feel the join us as we meme on that show!

This week, Da Bois return to talk about the fantastic German Netflix show Dark, but before they get to that they do a quick Whatcha Been Watchin' about The Masked Singer, Street Fighter II: The Anime, and Terminator Dark Fate (its trash bro). During their talk the boys can't pronounce Bartosz, his name is anything that now starts with B, Why Older Jonas is moron, and how whoever wrote this show is legitimately the biggest genius known to mankind. Join us next week for our review on the second season of Dark and also another secret episode! *Eyes Emoji*

Da Bois are back! This week, we conclude our three part review of Dark, the BEST SHOW ON NETFLIX, which sadly has come to an end. Before we hit the main course, we have Whatcha Been Wathcin' segment where we talk about the media we have been consuming outside of the main show. This week, Enrique has continued his adventure with Slam Dunk!, a fantastic anime about basketball, Tristan hits us with Masked Singer Updates, and Eli has seen Fantastic Beasts 1. We go from that to the Dark talk which sees us talk about how some grown man tears where in fact shed during the finale of this show, how Hannah REFUSED to stay with one guy through out this entire show, and how Jonas and Martha might be the best ship we have ever seen in live action television show. Next week, you can come back and hear us talk about Snowden, starring Joseph Gordon Levitt, and the week after we return back to our TV reviews, with a retaliation pick from Enrique since he had to watch Locke And Key, which is Teenage Bounty Hunters. Don't bother watching that show, just come and here us bash on it for an hour.

Da Bois are back! It's only been a few days but they return with regularly scheduled programming with their review of Train To Busan. During Trailer Trash, Da Bois messed up and picked the worst possible trailers to talk about including Songbird, a COVID horror movie (THEY ALREADY MADE ONE!), Selena: The Series, Blood Of Zeus, The Empty Man, and the reboot of the Animaniacs. After that, we go straight into our talk about Train To Busan with varying levels of enjoyment from "Meh", to "One of the greatest horrors I have ever seen". In that discussion,t Da Bois talk about why the big man in the blue suit was the best character in the entire movie, why the CEO was most definitely burring in the darkest pits of the underworld, and when you get the girl in movies there is a 85% she will die before the finale of the movie. Join us next week as we watch Locke & Key, on the streaming platform that doesn't pay us! As always thanks for watching, hit us up on social media for a shoutout!
