Who do you want to be? What is it that you want most out of life? How do you want to FEEL? What is my purpose?

031 | 39 Lessons for 39 Years of Life

It's my birthday tomorrow, July 29th! I wanted to celebrate turning 39 with you by sharing 39 lessons that I've learned over these 39 years of living.
In no particular order here they are!
- Your foundation is vital - what are your core values, your beliefs? With a solid foundation, nothing can shake you!
- Remove what no longer serves you - Rid yourself of things/people/habits/beliefs that no longer serve you! If it's not helping you, get rid of it.
- Live life fully - One of my biggest core beliefs. Squeeze each moment out of life, even the downtime. Find meaning in the little things.
- Take a risk on yourself - invest in you! You know deep down what you want out life and I'm sure you don't want to get to the end of it wishing you'd done it differently.
- Try it, you never know - try new things, new foods, CBD & other plant medicine, it may be for you.
- Just start - Take Action on something you've been talking about for too long.
- Our words have power - Use them wisely with yourself and towards/about others.
- Stop assuming things - About yourself, about others, about a situation. If you need to, ask more questions.
- Don't take things personally - Whatever someone else does, feels, or how they act towards you is NOT ABOUT YOU. It's about them and what they are going through.
- Keep your promises - especially to yourself! This builds your confidence and credibility with others.
- Make your life easier - Alexa, Automatic Coffee maker, extra phone chargers. What are the life hacks you need to implement to make your life easier?
- Take care of your money - pay yourself first, invest, and save. The more you respectful of your money, the more you will receive.
- Keep it simple - Do what feels right...and don't overthink things. If you need to pivot later...you can.
- Get outside more - connecting with nature grounds you energetically.
- Donβt take yourself so damn seriously - laugh at yourself more. Quit beating yourself up, for crying out loud.
- Acts of kindness go big - when was the lasts time you did something nice for someone? A stranger even?
- Change equals growth - don't be afraid of change.
- Fuck what they think - seriously. This is your life, and you are the one who has to live with the choices you've made...or rather didn't make because you were too scared of someone else's opinion.
- Listen more + Talk less. - be intentional when listening.
- Be intentional with your time. - it's the one resource we don't get more of. How are you spending your time?
- Reward your self with something other than food. - maybe a gift, a trip, a new outfit, a day off
- Celebrate the wins. Both big and especially small. - every time you celebrate, you tell God you're grateful and want more.
- To hell with the comparison. - Stop already. This is your life, your journey, your time.
- Support others. Itβs not a completion. - lift each other up...your co-worker, your neighbor, strangers
- Abundance is a mindset - look around you. You are already more abundant than you're giving yourself credit for.
- Laugh until life makes sense - we are meant to enjoy this life. It is a gift.
- Practice grace - To yourself. To others.
- Have more patience - Especially with yourself.
- The golden rule - treat others as you'd like to be treated.
- You can totally change your mind. - Pivoting and changing your mind is ok. As long as you're following your heart.
- Be happy Now - Even if you're working towards your goals and dreaming of a better life, be grateful for the life you currently have.
- Gratitude Attitude - How long ago was it that you prayed for what you currently have? Be grateful for all of the blessings in your life. Big and small and everything in between. It will change the way you view the world. And bring more blessings into your life.
- Be more like my pups - rest more, be super excited for car rides and walks, let someone take care of you for a change.
- Focus on One Thing - when I quit drinking...I didn't try to quit smoking, go on a diet, get all of my water in. No...I focused on not drinking. One thing.
- Always do your best - No matter what...in every situation, do your best.
- Make your bed every day - It's the one thing, that if everything else goes wrong...before you rest your head at night, you know you've accomplished this.
- Indulge in what makes you happy - that piece of cake, the extra cup of coffee, a nice outfit, a fun trip
- You are more powerful than you think - Everything your soul desires will come to be if you believe and know how powerful you are.
- Just remember....Life is too short. Make the most of it!

Also, I talk about how I create a loving feeling throughout my home and through my practices. Caitlan is the owner of To The Moon and Luna, her converted school bus turned mobile boutique that features local makers from Austin, Dallas, & Fort Worth areas! Also, Minnie Moon, her smaller school bus, acts as a mobile rental space. Minnie Moon, her smaller school bus has held all types of events from yoga sessions, sound baths, art galleries, photobooths...and so much more.
It's no wonder her friends describe her as human sunshine because she truly radiates so much positivity and goodness!

Word of the Week: Celebrate!
Today I am celebrating my wins! I want to share them with you to give you some encouragement and let you know that all of this goodness is available to you as well. And "wins" can range the gamut from small to big. There is no scale for what a win can look like!
My wins are your wins, and your wins are mine as well! This is how abundance looks my friend! If you've been stuck in a lack mindset; "if they have something, that means there is not enough for me," then I want to help you reframe these thoughts.
Whenever you see someone who has something you desire for yourself it's because The Universe is showing you what's possible for YOU! This is your driftwood!
- You want more money? Celebrate when others get a raise, when they find a $5 bill on the ground.
- You want a career change? Celebrate when others are moving on up, or starting their dream job.
- Calling in babies (that's me)? Celebrate the crap out of others when they announce their pregnancies!
This is abundance! It's a feeling of knowing and believing and remembering that there is more than enough to go around.

Today on my podcast, I starting chatting about a subject I absolutely love... ENERGY!!
When we talk about energy, it's so important to totally get grounded. In this episode I jam out on how to really get grounded and set the intentions for your day. It's so important to trust and understand everything happens for reason and know exactly how you're carrying your energy. I explain why you should prioritise grounding yourself when you need to and what activities can allow you to do that. I talk about why I love the energy in my FB group, and I spoke on some amazing cards I pulled this week and what they meant to me. One of the cards that I pulled on the show and feel like it was from my Dad, it read: "Life is meant to be fun, if you aren't having fun then what's the point in living!..Dream about what you want to create rather than dwelling on the thoughts that bring you down."
