Cultivating Kindness with Karen
Cultivating Kindness With Karen What is an unconscious jailer? Great question! Could you be one? Could you be unaware, or unconscious, of something that is holding you stuck, or withing walls that you are not able to see? And, how can anyone have an unconscious jailer? Definitely not words many people use to describe a situation or period of time. Yet, this is a situation that most people find themselves in. Many are here for years, if not decades. The key is to be open to asking if you are your own unconscious jailer. Then working to step out of this role and throwing the keys to the jail away! Join Karen Leslie Energetic Transformational Healer and Educator this week on Cultivating Kindness With Karen to identify what constitutes an "unconscious jailer". Then learn how to change this behaviour so you never create this for yourself again. Light From The Shadows: Enriching The Lives Of Others Inspired Choices Network Hosts Author Karen Leslie Amazon.com – https://www.amazon.com/dp/1738249417 Amazon.ca – https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1738249417 ~ More About Cultivating Kindness With Karen ~ Karen Leslie is an Educator and an Expert Healer who has been facilitating energy with others for over 25 years. Her life of depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts has led her on an interesting, and at times, turbulent path to where she is today. Kindness was definitely missing in Karen’s life. Karen was always kind and compassionate to others, however she was not showing kindness to herself. Today Karen knows that kindness towards others was actually a way of avoiding her own wounds and sadness. These choices created a life of ‘people pleasing’, keeping the peace and avoiding conflict; especially if it involved having to say “No” to someone else. Karen knows now that everything we do to help ourselves from the neck up will help everything from the neck down. Karen now lives each day with enthusiasm, excitement, an openness to new adventures and a great deal of kindness towards everyone, most especially herself. www.karenleslie.ca To get more of Cultivating Kindness With Karen, be sure to visit the podcast page for replays of all her shows here: https://www.inspiredchoicesnetwork.com/podcast/cultivating-kindness-with-karen/

Hiding Our Faults – Karen Leslie

Cultivating Kindness With Karen Lead with your strengths is often given as advice to help encourage people. The other side to this statement is to hide your faults. What are the results of suggesting it is a good idea to be hiding your faults? What happens when hiding your faults becomes a priority? It is easy to see the upside to leading with your strengths and it is not wrong to do so. Who doesn't wish to put their best foot forward? When the mind becomes fixated on this way of thinking you naturally (unconsciously) bury your faults deeper and deeper sending some very harmful messages to your mind and body. Join Energetic Transformational Healer Karen Leslie, for ways to change this harmful way of thinking which will actually strengthen your presence, beliefs and overall posture each time you enter a room. This week on Cultivating Kindness With Karen lets look at stopping "Hiding Our Faults" and standing taller in your beliefs about yourself. ~ More About Cultivating Kindness With Karen ~ Karen Leslie is an Educator and an Expert Healer who has been facilitating energy with others for over 25 years.
