This episode of the series is with endurance athlete, Phil Sesemann.
Phil received a late call up for a place on the team due to a withdrawal in the 3000m from Marc Scott.
It was great to catch up with Phil and it is so good to see him on the team as this is his first Track appearance for his country. The fact that he wanted to run in the Olympic Marathon Trials in Novemeber just goes to show the incredible range that Phil has in the locker.
We wished Phil the best of luck in the championships and it was great to have him on the pod!

Chris O'Hare - Dad, Husband & Athlete
Crickcastpod
02/13/21 • 44 min
The title of the podcast may confuse a few... During this podcast, Chris talks about how important it is to have many passions other than the sport.
As many people know, a career in professional sport is limited and Chris speaks about this in the pod.
Having been in love with the sport since I was 10 years old, it’s incredible to think that I would be talking with someone who I saw on TV and massively admired!
Chris and I had a great conversation about his life in athletics; the struggles he has been met with, the highs and the lows.
