Welcome Back to Creek Talkers!
This week we've got a big old Sophomore Class President Election and everyone is in the running! But who will win? And who will fight the dirtiest? This week we're breaking down Season 2, Episode 9, "The Election."
Andie (Meredith Monroe) decides to snag Joey as her running mate to run for Class President. When her opponents start a smear campaign against one of them, things become a little less about politics and a lot more about being an absolutely disgusting human being--(COUGH COUGH Abby COUGH COUGH).
Joey (Katie Holmes) is still finding her footing after her breakup with Dawson but is somehow finding her way closer and closer to Jack (Kerr Smith). As she tries to get Jack to open up more about his personal life, she starts to understand just why he wants to keep his mouth shut.
Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is realizing that he's been dealing with his life issues as an adult and not like the 15-year-old that he is. When Jen (Michelle Williams) becomes his "regression sponsor, Dawson starts to realize he needs to figure out his issues more from the heart and not from his big head.
Pacey (Joshua Jackson) stands by Andie as her campaign manager. When things become a little too close to home for Andie during the election debates, he discovers that she may not be the only one being so upfront about her life. Pacey, being a victim of the school rumor mill himself, tries to help Andie in her situation. But will it be enough?
We also discuss "stealing" moments, anger regression, and how relatable Gale is this week when it comes to how she deals with stress by cooking and cleaning.

Episode 24-(S2-Ep 8)-"The Reluctant Hero"

Welcome Back Creekers! It's 2022!
We hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday and everyone is fully rested. Because we're back this week discussing Season 2, Episode 8, "The Reluctant Hero." AKA, the episode where Jen has a sorta, kinda threesome.
Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is struggling to find a balance with his father, Mitch (John Wesley Shipp) since moving out of the Leery estate. Also, after discovering good news about his film, he attempts to ease into a friendship again with Joey, until she breaks the news to him that maybe she's too busy to waste her time on all of Dawson's dreams.
Pacey (Joshua Jackson) becomes hyper aware of his potentially horrible future when even his guidance counselor tells him there's no hope for him. When Andie (Meredith Monroe) invites Pacey over for a lesson in learning, the two of them learn to work through a tough situation together when it comes to Andie's sick mother.
Jack (Kerr Smith) finally gets the balls to ask Joey (Katie Holmes) out on a "dat"--"there's no full moon," he tells her. Joey learns that she has more in common with the new busboy than she ever did with her lifelong best friend. Will they end up watching the Weather Channel together? Something tells me there's another storm coming...
Jen (Michelle Williams) is trying to be a normal teenager by having F-U-N every night of the week. When she feels like Dawson is being judgmental about her current behavior, she invites him out to a party so he can attempt to have fun himself. After finding Jen in a sticky situation, his attempt at being the hero goes terribly wrong.
We also get into some fun tangents about alien life forces, Harrison Ford, and what the hell H.E.A. stands for.
