Joey (Katie Holmes) is in a relationship rut. While at the fair, Jack (Kerr Smith) decides to take her to have her future read. Will a "tall dark stranger" be coming into Joey's life? Or is the universe just sending her mixed signals?
Andie (Meredith Monroe) convinces Pacey (Joshua Jackson) to work a safety booth at the fair. When he notices Andie acting aloof after getting her fortune read, he lets her know that she's in charge of her own bright future.
Jen (Michelle Williams) tries to help Grams (Mary Beth Piel) get back in the dating game after she runs into an old high school flame. Will Grams be able to go through with it so soon after the death of her husband?
We also discuss Jayme's new hobby, Stephen's own personal rut and how "gaydar" is a real thing. So, grab your crystal ball, your tarot cards and pitch your tent, because we're meeting all of our "Psychic Friends" this week at the town fair!

Jen (Michelle Williams) and Ty (Eddie Mills) hit a sexual roadblock in their relationship. Will Jen be able to jump out of this moving vehicle unscathed? Or will Ty persuade her just one more time for another chance?
Jack (Kerr Smith) is trying to figure out his own brand-new sexual awakening when Abby (Monica Keena) just confuses him even more.

Here comes the bride....and a teen who dies...
This week, Joey's father has come up with a plan to make more money at the Icehouse by catering events. And it just so happens that Bessie's friend is getting married and needs a caterer! How convenient! Also, a night of fun ends in tragedy for one of our Capesiders.

Joey (Katie Holmes) is trying not to have a nervous breakdown while dealing with the fact that her father is back in her life AND working as a cater waiter at a fancy wedding in town. Will Joey finally tell her father how she truly feels? Or will she just end up in a ball on the dance floor?
Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is trying to keep his cool after realizing that Joey is going to Jack more and more with her problems. After an incident with a runaway bride, Jack (Kerr Smith) comes to the rescue with the bride, and with Dawson.
Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is trying to convince skeptic Andie (Meredith Monroe) that weddings are a beautiful tradition. After a mishap with the wedding cake, Andie realizes that she may be the bad omen.
Jen (Michelle Williams) and Abby (Monica Keena) end up having their own party on the docks after being kicked out for crashing the wedding. Unfortunately, the party is about to end for one of our Capesiders. Permanently.
