Creatively Christian - Interviews with Faithful Artists - God’s Intent for Our Lives – Joe Molinari

God’s Intent for Our Lives – Joe Molinari

Creatively Christian - Interviews with Faithful Artists
Animation editor Joe Molinari is on the Creatively Christian podcast, interviewed by Brannon Hollingsworth. Joe recounts how he accidentally got into the animation industry and gives tips for those working in any job as a Believer. Additionally, Joe gives encouragement for anyone facing big decisions, urging all of us to trust in God's intent for our lives and not our own plan. After various odd jobs in Hollywood, Joe found his way to Hyperion Animation where he began his first editing job on comedian Louie Anderson’s Life with Louie. That opportunity began what is now nearly a 30-year career in the industry, which includes work at such studios as Hanna-Barbera, Sony Pictures Animation, Warner Bros, and Cartoon Network. Of those 30 years, however, Joe has spent 25 of them at the Walt Disney Company. For the Mouse House, Joe has edited on such shows as Hercules the Series, House of Mouse, Kim Possible, Sofia the First, and Big Hero 6: The Series (for which he received two Annie nominations and a win for Best Editing). Currently, Joe is working on Disney Junior’s Mickey Mouse Funhouse. Joe resides in Burbank, CA with Julie (now celebrating 30 years of marriage), 7 children, 2 dogs, and a hamster. He also serves as a deacon in the Men’s Ministry at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley. This episode can also be found on YouTube.
