Creatively Christian - Interviews with Faithful Artists

Screenwriter and producer Kimberly Soliman is on the Creatively Christian podcast, interviewed by Brannon Hollingsworth. Kimberly shares her journey from the stage to the screen and from Alabama to New York and LA. She discusses hearing God’s call, picking projects, and getting connected in Hollywood as a faith-based writer. Brannon also asks her about how she deals with rejection and brands herself.

Kimberly Jade Soliman is a screenwriter living in Los Angeles. She is repped at APA and writes faith-based/family features and has a passion for stories about people with disabilities.  She has written three faith-based features for hire and her scripts have won various awards.  She was a co-writer on a grounded sci-fi feature, Tinker’, starring Christian Kane and Clayne Crawford, which was on Netflix in 2019.  She is currently writing a gritty faith-based short film, which is her favorite genre.  She is originally from Birmingham, AL, and has a degree in Theatre from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Before moving to Los Angeles, Kimberly was an Equity Stage Manager in New York City and has worked at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and Lincoln Center.  She also interned on such Broadway shows as Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Chicago, Les Misérables, Hairspray, and, The Producers, among others.
