In today's episode I go back to basics and discuss how I grew my social media following to date, with the spotlight on Instagram. In our hectic daily schedule, social media can often feel like a chore but it is so important to utilise as a marketing strategy. I discuss how I've changed my strategy around social media, ways I save time by repurposing content and also things I see other people do that I know won't help them currently grow.
Thank you so much for listening and please don't forget to leave a review, rating and to download the episode each week.

Episode 7: Money Mindset & UK Tax Returns
Creative CEO
11/19/24 • 18 min
Do you hate the maths side of your business? I did too, but keeping on top of your finances is really important especially when you've quit your part time job and are doing your business full time. In this episode I touch on a bit of money mindset, having a sexy cash flow forecast and I finish off with a bit of advice about submitting your UK cash basis tax return. I want you to feel empowered that you can do your accounts independently like I (sort of) can now, but if you need any professional advice then please seek the advice of a qualified accountant.
Happy listening!

Episode 5: Prepare for the unplanned
Creative CEO
10/28/24 • 12 min
Last week I had a real dose of reality when my daughter became unwell and as a result found myself scrabbling for ways to ensure my business kept running whilst I was solo parenting a poorly child. In this shorter episode I discuss 5 systems I have now put in place for when the unexpected happens if you're running a business on your own.
Don't forget to be kind to yourself: if things happen in your personal life and you have to just pause your business completely, then you do what is best for you. I hope this episodes helps anyone running a business alongside parenthood and gives you a chance to put some automations in place before something goes unplanned.

Welcome to episode 1 of Creative CEO! In this episode, I go into the three mindset shifts I had to make after quitting my teaching job and diving into self employment, whilst juggling being a parent! I discuss:
Money mindset - attracting abundance and practical ways to stay on top of your finances
Time mindset - change the way you see time, even when it is in short supply with children or other dependents to look after
Growth mindset - make space for your business to grow that works around your current family situation
For my next episode, I would love to hear from you. What are your biggest struggles around productivity?

'Sell me this pen' scene in Wolf of Wall Street - I definitely got my scenes mixed up and the scene in which the pen is sold with the right strategy involves too many swearwords to share for a non explicit podcast! But it is worth putting 'sell me this pen' into YouTube and checking out that scene in the diner.

Episode 8: Visualise Your Way To Your Dream Life
Creative CEO

Set your goals now, then have a rest and recharge ready to get going in January.
