Let’s get paid to play video games! Erin teaches us how to hack the system and get a bazillionaire to help fund local communities. Plus, how to launch your own agency.

Bill it to Bezos
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Erin Kawalecki is Partner & Chief Creative Officer at Angry Butterfly.
Erin was described by her first boss as ‘overly opinionated’. Since then, she has created work that’s been internationally awarded for both creativity and effectiveness – traits she firmly believes are not mutually exclusive (there goes another opinion).
She started an agency with her two partners in the summer of 2020, and feels incredibly lucky to work alongside such talented, curious, and kind people. The last few years at Angry Butterfly have been the most fulfilling, challenging, and exciting time in her nearly 20-year career.
She has been recognized at Cannes, The One Show, Marketing, Communication Arts, The Effies, and by Ad Age for creating one of the top ‘viral’ campaigns in the world.

How to land your next job in advertising [w/ Hemal Dhanjee & Steve Ierullo]
Steven Hemal discusses their upcoming memoir “Bananas & Coffee: how to thrive as a creative.”
Plus, they unpack KFC "Fixed It" and Nescafe “Jars”.
Also... is this one person or two? Find out!
ABOUT OUR GUESTS:
Steve Ierullo and Hemal Dhanjee’s story started nine years ago at a Second Cup, where they turned a diet of coffees and bananas into a successful career in advertising. In that time, they’ve worked at some of the best agencies in Canada and picked up a lot of shiny trophies along the way. Their work has compared STIs to stocks, explored the endless possibilities of an empty Nescafe Jar, and most recently trolled McDonald’s on the launch of their Chicken Big Mac. They are currently Associate Creative Directors at Courage, an independent creative agency in Toronto.

How to be a Serial Entrepreneur [w/ Amin Todai]
Amin teaches himself how to launch an agency at age 22, befriends the Raptors, starts a “Pimp My Ride” business, gets into the restaurant game, almost goes bankrupt multiple times, sells his ice cream franchise for like a bazillion dollars, is now into AI – oh, and still runs a successful agency. If you remember C-Lounge, this episode is for you.
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Amin is a multi-disciplinary designer, angel investor, and entrepreneur. In terms of design, Amin has created brands & experiences for companies such as The Toronto Raptors, Drake, Ebay, Microsoft, Nike, Scotiabank, and Kit Kat. As an angel investor, he has helped fund businesses like Ritual, #Paid, Tromba Tequila, plus a number of international restaurants & bars.
And as an entrepreneur Amin’s home base is OneMethod, a highly awarded advertising & design agency he founded in 2001. But he is also a partner of Bensimon Byrne & Narrative, La Carnita, Dagger Beer, Faded Lifestyle (streetwear label), Model Citizen (hospitality design & consultancy), and most recently Chaos EC, an emerging esports franchise co-owned by Pusha-T, Logic, and Pharrell.
Across all of the above, what truly distinguishes everything Amin tackles is his unique understanding & intersecting of business & creative. Oh, and he is also a mentor & advisor, sort of a DJ, and kind of a chef... with heavy emphasis on the “sort of” and “kind of”.
