Sufia Hossain the Founder of Silly Chilly Hot Sauce in Queens, New York comes on the Craft Hot Sauce Podcast. Sufia moved to New York from Bangladesh at the age of 12. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology when she started a career working in the fashion industry. Some time into her career she got the entrepreneurship bug and wanted to start a mission forward business that would support local agriculture. Since 2016 she’s been making hot sauces and growing the business very fast. He began playing the guitar at the age of 12 and since then has devoted countless hours to mastering the instrument. In 2012 he was featured on a national television music program, drawing attention and acclaim from industry professionals and audiences alike, which led to his first tour the same year. In 2015 Imam was offered a scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee he was twice selected to feature at Berklee’s annual Guitar Night hosted by the virtuoso guitar players Thaddeus Hogarth, Tim Miller and Julien Kasper. Imam Collective is his new project, that blends American Roots music (blues and jazz) with Indian Classical music influences. The song featured is their first single: 'Baltimore' a jazz funk tune drawing inspiration from the Boston funk scene Imam spent his college years around.
