The show’s intern, Idan, has landed his first real job and is moving on to greener pastures. So the fellas wanted one last show with him hanging out and being his usual electric self. In honor of Idan and the folks he brought to the comment section, the guys rank their beers on the Dumpy Scale, from Pancake Dumpy all the way to the coveted Fatty Dumpy.
Idan and Mookie try to talk some soccer and Man U fans protesting the team owner this week. The guys then switch to American football and touch on the draft and Zach Wilson looking super uncomfortable next to a group of other draftees. After admiring the talent Alabama has put into the NFL, the guys get into the new college football OT rules. When the topic switches to basketball and LeBron flip flopping about the play-in tournament, Mookie comes up with the hottest take the show has heard. Plus, Tristan Thompson is described in a way never heard before.
In the baseball world, the guys discuss Denver Brewing Co’s attempt to buy the Rockies and the Pioneer League’s new dinger slinger face-off to decide games instead of extra innings. Mike gets heated about the MLB suspending Amir Garrett, and Scott laughs at an A’s pitcher who registered the first “baseball injury” of the year. Scott does that hockey as a floating head to talk about Tom Wilson’s brawl with the Rangers and the NHL’s response.
