S2 E23: Slide-Rock Bolter

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We discuss avalanches, Paul Bunyan, and the worst tourist trap of all time, the Slide-Rock Bolter. The SRB is a massive creature allegedly inhabits the mountains of Colorado, waiting on steep slopes for unsuspecting tourists to venture below. With the help of loose snow, gravity, and lubricating saliva, the SRB rockets down the mountain, crashing down on its victim(s). The SRB is said to gain enough speed on its way down, that its momentum will carry it up all the way up the next mountain, where it grabs hold, awaiting its next victim. While spotting a whale sized creature perched atop a mountain may seem like an easy task, the lack of sightings are eye opening to say the least. So join us Cryptid Counters, as we fish around this whale of a tale for yet another episode of Counting Cryptids.

S2 E21: The Beast Of Bodmin Moor

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We discuss releasing animals into the wild, how little we know about europe, and a big ass cat known as The Beast of Bodmin Moor. This "beast" is pretty much just a panther, but in a place where it has no business, Europe. Though official reports maintain that "No verifiable evidence for the presence of a 'big cat' was found" there has been no shortage of sightings adding credibility to these creatures. And with recent, well documented, big cat escapes in the area, this podcaster subscribes to the belief that a particular person plotted this European panther population expansion project. So grab your phantom wild cat repellent spray, and your anti-alien big cat abduction undergarments, its time for another episode of Counting Cryptids

S2 E5: Organism 46-b

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We discuss secret alien bases, movie plots, and what could be the most horrific "discovery" ever, Organism 46-b. The story of 46-b, better known as the Vostok Monster, was born from an actual scientific expedition, in which researches drilled into the ice in Antarctica for decades to access a sub-glacial lake, that had been covered in ice for an estimated 20 million years. Upon examination of the lake, the crew was met by something horrible; a 33 foot long, 14 tentacled, squid-thing, that was out for blood. The creature allegedly killed several members of the crew before finally being captured, and sent off to the Russian government to be examined, and potentially weaponized. While contradictory information, lack of evidence, and bad science point to a hoax; the unnamed crew members, government conspiracies, "missing scientist", and obfuscated information lend credence to this creepy creatures continued existence. So join us, Cryptid Counters, as we dive into what we know about lake Vostok.

S2 E12: Area 51

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We take a step back from cryptids and explore another mysterious topic, Area 51. Recently a Facebook event was created, detailing "We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens." But that is far from the beginning of the so called "Groom Lake Facility". Built in the 1950's for Black Projects (development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems), the facility wasn't officially confirmed until June 2013, under a Freedom of Information Act request. In the late 80's, a man by the name of Bob Lazar came forward claiming to have been employed at a facility called "S-4", roughly 8 miles from Area 51, reverse engineering advanced technology. He claims that the craft that he worked on was not from earth, and was extraterrestrial. Lazar describe 9 different crafts seen at the facility, and claims briefing documents stated the craft came from a planet in the Zeta Reticuli star system called ZR-3. Lazar's credentials are soon brought into question as his alleged past is erased. His Masters from MIT, and Cal Tech, his employment history, and even his birth certificate, all disappeared. Lazar's story, coupled with countless UFO sightings in the area, have made the public suspicious of the area for decades, prompting the current movement scheduled for September 2019. Is Lazar telling the truth? Was the United States Government actually attempting to reverse engineer extraterrestrial technology? And how many of the almost 2 million "attending" will actually show? Join us, Cryptid Counters, in a desperate attempt for more downloads on another episode of Counting Cryptids.

S2 E15: Reptilians

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We continue to spit a bunch of shit about aliens. This time, the reptilians. Tall, scaly, and smelly, these entities are malicious, power hungry, and will stop at nothing to manipulate the human race into doing their bidding. Popularized by celebrity conspiracy theorist David Icke in the 90's, who was actively racing to ruin his own career, Icke proposed that these Reptilian Humanoids had been controlling humanity since the dawn of time. The internet has since run wild with this theory, exposing many celebrities, and nearly every politician, as a so-called "lizard person". While these claims may seem like a reach at first, and the "Reptilian Elite" may not be the first conclusion you jump to, much of the video evidence is enough to leave you scratching your head. So join us Cryptid Counters, as we make our way through another hot, mildly acidic, episode of Counting Cryptids.

S2 E6: Flatwoods Monster

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We discuss, owls in relation to strange encounters, Project Blue Beam, and one of the most unbelievable beings to date, The Flatwoods Monster. The Flatwoods Monster, also known as the Green Monster☺, was spotted in West Virginia, amidst a UFO flap in 1952. Witnesses watched as a strange ball of light fell from the sky, in a rather peculiar manor. Upon finding the object, they were confronted by a malicious mist, and an enormous, enigmatic entity. Over the next 24 hours, several similar sightings were reported from nearby towns, as well as a slew of UFO sightings across the region. While no known photos exist, the legend of the Flatwoods Monster continues to persist. So join us, Cryptid Counters, as we light up with the Green Monster.

Contender # 16 - Pterosaurs

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We take to the skies, as we discuss modern day sightings of another prehistoric creature, the Pterosaur. From the Americas, to Papua New Guinea, and even Africa people are spotting massive flying creatures with bat like wings that... sometimes glow? With as many likely explanations as there are, surely there can't be a giant flying reptile stalking the skies, could there?

Contender #21 - Slender Man

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We discuss the freshest fiend we could find, the Slender Man. In 2009 an image was created that seemed to haunt people to the point of physical manifestation. Individuals began to become obsessed with this entity, many unsure of its origins, or if it was even real. Then, in 2012, two preteens stabbed their friend 19 times in an attempt to appease the Slender Man, turning these fun photo manipulation festivities, into a full on frenzy.

S3 E1: The Yeti

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We begin the season horrifically off topic before kicking things off with some subjectively big feet. If somehow you've never heard of the abominable snowman, its a snowy Sasquatch. A hairy, 8 foot tall, bipedal hominid, living on the slopes of the Himalayan mountains. Many sightings seem quite modest when compared to some of the extraordinary Bigfoot stories we all know and love, leaving some of its credibility intact. So join us Cryptid Counters, as we step down the slippery road of the Yeti on another episode of Counting Cryptids. We also talk shit about America's favorite pass time.

Counting Cryptids - S3 E6: Pascagoula Abduction

S3 E6: Pascagoula Abduction

This time, on Counting Cryptids:

We discuss a bizarre extraterrestrial encounter that occurred in 1970's Mississippi. The story is based around the shared experience of two shipyard workers, 42 year old Charles Hickson, and 19 year old Calvin Parker. The two were fishing along the banks of the Pascagoula River after work on the 11th of October 1973 when they heard a "whizzing sound" from above. Suddenly, an oval shaped craft appeared in front of them, hovering about 2 feet off the ground. Out of the craft emerged three humanoid beings each standing about 5 feet tall, with pink-ish/gray skin, lobster claw-like hands, and only one leg. In the years following, more detail emerged, as more witnesses came forward, making this even harder to judge heads from tails.
