He has written extensively on the topics of business succession planning, estate planning, and estate administration, including articles in the Illinois Bar Journal and the Trusts and Estates Newsletter of the Illinois State Bar Association. In 2017, he was awarded the Illinois State Bar Association’s Board of Governors Award for his distinguished service to the legal profession. In October 2022, he was recognized by the Third District Court of Appeal of the State of Florida in Miami for receiving one of the highest scores in the July 2022 administration of the Florida Bar Examination. He received his B.S. in Accountancy with Highest Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
