Lois and Ross Melbourne - Moral Code | Women in Tech, Morality, and Ethical AI
Conversations on Applied AI01/03/23 • 44 min
The conversation this week is with Lois Melbourne & Ross Melbourne. Lois is an author presenting visions of what if her former life was exciting as a software CEO and entrepreneur, and she is now the Chief Story Officer at My Future Story. Within her nonprofit work for My Future Story she published The STEM Club Goes Exploring, and Kids Go to Work Day. She loves to coach kids and schools through the wonderment of career exploration with a mission to inspire kids toward purposely designing their futures. Her third book and the first novel is the Sci-Fi, "Moral Code". It was written in collaboration with our business partner and husband Ross. Ross is a lifelong innovator, entrepreneur, and patent holder. He has lived and worked in the US for 30 years, but grew up in England making stuff for fun. Ross developed the world's first automatic organization charting software and then co-founded Aquire with his wife, Lois. Ross is a proven business executive and technology leader using what he calls family-first ethics.
