What's something that everyone who starts a business has in common?
Receiving BAD ADVICE!
Since I started my adventure is opening a vintage shop way back in 2018, I've received my fair share of bad advice from other small business owners, big business owners and those who mean well.
I've picked out three of the worst pieces of advice I've received and I'll tell you why it's BAD!

I'm BACK from an unexpected hiatus!
Let me just preface this episode with a HUGE apology!

Why are the sizes and numbers used to make us feel excluded from the fashion conversation completely arbitrary?

I recently read an article in Buzzfeed News about the backlash a Depop seller is facing on TikTok after posting a thrifting haul for her Depop shop. There have been some very divided and heated opinions!

I'M BURNED THE F$%& OUT!
When I opened my vintage shop back in 2018 I knew that it was going to be a long and tiring road to get my shop to where I wanted it to go.
Flash forward to 2024 my shop has changed, but the way I interact with it hasn't.
In today's episode, I'll talk about my struggle with burnout after working 6-7 days a week for 5 years, in my vintage shop. The feeling of shame when you have to admit to yourself that you CAN'T do it all and need to step back.
This is a mental health issue that faces so many people across all walks of life and industries!
