As a supplement to Episode 5, attorney James Cook and I discuss Colorado bills SB21-256 and HB21-1298. The former would permit local governments to enact individual laws related to firearms, ammunition, and firearm parts that are more restrictive than state laws related to firearms. The latter would close the "Charleston Loophole" and restrict people convicted of certain state misdemeanors from purchasing a firearm through a licensed dealer.
