Come To The Table - Season 2 Premiere: A Heartfelt Catch-Up with Conversational Christianity

Season 2 Premiere: A Heartfelt Catch-Up with Conversational Christianity

03/10/25 • 57 min

Come To The Table

We’re back, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off Season 2 of Come to the Table! This season, we’re diving deeper into conversational Christianity—where faith isn’t just studied but lived out in real, raw discussions. Whether at a coffee shop, an Indian restaurant, or around your kitchen table, we believe Jesus meets us in our everyday conversations.

In this first episode of the season, we talk about something we all experience—questions for God. Is it okay to question Him? How do we seek His answers? We reflect on Job’s story and how God responded, not with rejection, but with truth that humbled and strengthened him.

What You’ll Hear in This Episode:

  • What it means to embrace conversational Christianity
  • Why asking questions is part of faith, not a lack of it
  • How God responded to Job and what that means for us
  • The importance of going to Scripture for answers
  • A look ahead at what’s coming in Season 2!

Bible Stories for the Lame!!! The Unexpected Dinner Guest: Shame Doesn't Dine Here!

Welcome to Bible Stories for the Lame! This isn’t your average Bible study—this is where we take the stories you’ve heard a million times but maybe never really understood, break them down, and make them make sense. No theology degree required.

In this episode, we’re diving into Luke 7:36-50, where a woman crashes a Pharisee’s dinner party, cries all over Jesus’ feet, wipes them with her hair, and pours out expensive perfume in an act of radical worship. If this happened today, it would 100% go viral. But what’s really going on here? What does it tell us about grace, worship, and how we approach Jesus? Let’s get into it.

Lame Takeaway:

Jesus isn’t impressed by how ‘put together’ we look—He’s moved by hearts that recognize their need for Him.
