Creating a Positive Environment in Youth Esports w/ XP League and Positive Coaching Alliance
College Esports QuickTake10/16/20 • 36 min
Youth sports have been a constant focus of parents and kids for decades. But with competition increasingly moving online, the XP League didn't want kids to miss out on the positive aspects of youth sports when passionate about esports. That's why Jay Melamed created the XP League, a youth esports franchise that operates in seven locations and is quickly expanding. Jay joins the show along with Marti Reed, a leader in the Positive Coaching Alliance and college softball National Champion to talk about the roles coaches play in kids development, the new challenges posed by esports and why the PCA partnered with the XP League.
