Which teams are GUARANTEED no. 1 seeds in NCAA tourney?
College Basketball Power Hour
03/11/25 • 62 min
Join Caroline Fenton, Jason Fitz & Ice Young as they unravel the madness from the first week of March on the latest episode of College Basketball Power Hour! The trio starts off with a recap of the biggest moments from the weekend including Trey Holloman & Michigan State’s routing of rival Michigan, Bree Hall’s dominant defense for South Carolina in the SEC women’s tournament and Steph Curry announcing he’ll join Davidson athletics as assistant General Manager. Several women’s conference tournaments were decided over the weekend with Kara Lawson, Duke women’s head coach, hoisting the ACC trophy and Hailey van Lith leading TCU to their first Big 12 title.
Caroline, Fitz & Ice debate which four teams are worthy of the no. 1 seeds in the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments. For the men, could Auburn lose out on being the overall no. 1 seed after two losses to round-out their regular season? And if so, is Duke’s strength of schedule tough enough to give them the edge? The Houston Cougars have proved they’re worthy of a no. 1 seed, but where does that leave Florida, Tennessee & Michigan State? In the women’s tournament, USC & UCLA have clear cases for being no. 1 seeds, but could UConn be left out of the top teams despite beating Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks? Plus, you can’t forget about Texas and Notre Dame!
To wrap, the trio previews the SEC men’s tournament which will likely prove to be a must-watch from the first round all the way to the championship game.

Clemson; Texas A&M ranked too low, mid-season Heisman favorites & could Georgia somehow miss playoffs?
College Basketball Power Hour
10/16/24 • 69 min
Caroline Fenton & Jason Fitz wrap up Week 7 of college football as they take one last look at Oregon’s victory against Ohio State. While the Buckeye fanbase starts to doubt their head coach, Ryan Day, Ducks fans sing Dan Lanning’s praises for a strategic 12-man penalty.
A new AP Poll is out so Caroline and Fitz break down who’s ranked too high, too low and just right. What business does Michigan have to still be in the Top 25 and what’s giving Iowa State the edge against their fellow undefeated conference opponent BYU?
As the midway point of the season approaches, the duo look at the current Heisman odds for top candidates such as Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, Colorado’s Travis Hunter, and Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel.
Caroline & Fitz also make some mid-season playoff predictions, including the possibility that traditional powerhouses Alabama & Georgia might not find themselves in playoff contention come December.
Finally, the pair share which games they’re watching this weekend, from the best-of-the-best SEC matchups to a few games only a college football sicko could bring themselves to watch.

Week 4 Reactions: USC loses in Big 10 debut & Oklahoma faces QB controversy
College Basketball Power Hour
09/22/24 • 53 min

The trio raise a glass and pour one out as they commemorate the highest highs and lowest lows of the weekend, from Illinois upsetting Nebraska to a UNC loss to James Madison with a shocking scoreline.

College Basketball Power Hour
10/13/24 • 61 min
Caroline Fenton, Jason Fitz & Adam Breneman recap the biggest games from Week 7 starting with Oregon’s 32-31 victory against Ohio State. Is Lanning getting enough credit for his gutsy play-calling in this Oregon win? Or were costly mistakes by Ohio State’s quarterback Will Howard more to blame?
The trio share their biggest takeaways from the weekend including Penn State being a national title contender and the death of USC’s playoff chances. Plus, after a close victory against Florida, can we really trust that Tennessee can be a playoff team?
Caroline, Fitz & Adam name their ‘dawgs’ and ‘puppies’ of the weekend as they give props to ASU, Clemson & Texas, while sharing some skepticism for Georgia & Alabama after their unimpressive victories.
