Sillah hosts episode 42 as he discusses cancel culture, highlighting rapper 'Glizz' whose old tweets resurfaced within less then 24 hours after releasing a freestyle. As a white rapper the tweets were disturbing as they were both racist, with regular use of the N word, as well as highly offensive remarks towards black women. The trio discuss whether he can come back from this after issuing an apology, or does cancel culture mean he is done for? This instance also leads to a discussion on Black culture and whether it is too accessible. How can access to Black culture be limited and ultimately kept in the hands of black people to make sole profit off of? The Lads return home for the monumental episode 40! Toren, Ray & Sillah start off by discussing how much of a strange year 2020 has been with the deaths of various icons, as well as the coronavirus pandemic. The conversation then moves on to discussing the changes to TfL including the congestion charge being increased and changed from five to seven days a week. Opinions on many major music festivals opting to reschedule to 2021 are also thrashed out, and to finish off, the killing of George Floyd and the subsequent riots in Minneapolis are discussed which leads onto a debate of whether Black representation across all major industries should be the case.
