Climate Conversations

Humanity's efforts to avoid the worst of the climate crisis hinge on bold, charismatic, innovative and farseeing leadership and it fell to Miriam Mohammed (pictured) o explain something about leadership when she appeared on ABC's "The Drum", although she was talking about Australia's indigenous Voice to Parliament, rather than climate change. Good leadership is, however, interchangeable and not necessarily topic dependent.

One who understands leadership is the author of "The End of Nature", Bill McKibben, in conversation here with "Ezra Klein".

"A desperate race to avoid locking in the pathway to human extinction";

"Degrowth in a Green-Growth World";

"A Blanket of Snow for California";

"The first great energy transition: how humanity gave up whaling";

"‘Move people to rooftops’: Worst-ever Qld rain forces Burketown evacuation as power and sewers fail";

"At CERAWeek, Big Oil Executives Call for ‘Energy Security’ and Longevity for Fossil Fuels";

"The Trouble With "Market-Based" Climate Solutions."
