Happy Earth Day Savvy Beauties! Do you want to go green and live a more eco friendly lifestyle but find it a bit overwhelming and wonder where to start? Or maybe you're in your eco groove but would like to do more. The theme for Earth Day 2021 is Restore Our Earth. In celebration of this day honoring our beautiful planet, I'm sharing some easy actionable tips to help you go green and do your part in restoring our earth without overhauling and changing too much of your lifestyle. If you are concerned about climate change, make some eco friendly changes in your own home. What’s going on in your home affects the earth. It starts with you. Earth Day is every day.

On April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans held demonstrations across the country rallying for a healthy, sustainable environment. We still face many of the same environmental issues as we did on that first Earth Day when founder, Gaylord Nelson, a Wisconsin Senator at the time, was inspired to make a difference after the devastation of the 1969 oil spill in Santa Barbara, a beautiful coastal town here in Southern California not too far from where I grew up and where I now live.

Connect with your inner flower child and take action by implementing the tips that resonate with you. Every eco step you take is another step to a healthier environment. These tips also help your health immensely because many things we do for our planet also reduce your toxic load. The EPA ranks indoor air pollution as one of the top 5 environmental health risks.
