Hi! I have some description for this:

This below is something that I felt I had to “get out of me” tonight as I was deeply studying my own real feelings of comparison and envy for what I have witnessed with other writers here on Substack and other business owners that I thought not too unlike myself. I consider it to be a sort of encouraging and dramatic Pep-Talk or speech in prose that I’m reading to myself. And just maybe someone else could stand to read it to themselves as well.

You're tired of doctoring-up that half-developed, re-heated concept that you once saw another entrepreneur take off with... The same one that you can only manage to partially serve up cold and too late in a completely unappealing fashion. And you're absolutely exhausted from the effort required to once again arrive at disappointment, burnout, and an ever-growing frustration.

I, too, have contemplated dancing on social media reels to trend metrics upwards. I have performed the pale shadow of so many of my mentors' more successful productions.

Immediately drop all of the tactics that you brainstormed in that fever haze without a drop of strategy or deeper reasoning. Do you really need me to say that all this is just not for you?..

Must I tell you that your fits and starts are getting you not far in a most graceless manner?

I can only hope that you have ears to hear what it is you need to now, at the end of another day of being busy at your workstation, but not at all productive. You don't need to track your time to see that your pursuits aren't producing the level of success that you had visualized for this Quarter. Your miles have turned up no milestones, and you're wondering where you initially began to err and venture towards another difficult lesson in wages of inauthenticity.

Girl, stop.

You will never win by role-playing the game of someone else.

Who are you? She is your one character to assume. You've heard it said simply so many times before, but you still insist on overthinking that which requires no outside form of education. Wherever you go, there you are, so why are you uptaking the yoke of someone else?

Your business misses you. Greet your business newly, and impart your unfiltered wholeness right at that spot. Don't go curate a staged display of your sterilized tools and expect to restore an artwork already in circulation with them; we have all witnessed it before, and it is not flattering. Show yourself where you intend to show up in this world with your business. Because when you withold yourself from what you do, create, or are, you wound the thing that you labor to birth.

Facades can tarnish and turn to muddle what is there underneath to exhibit as your one lasting stronghold against the tall tower of false promises and lies that you rehearse for this world that will not love hearing them.

You alchemize silver and gold when you dare to temper your creation in the fires of who all you are as a being. And there is no substitute for handiwork so blatantly fine in quality. So, don't withdraw your hand in the building of your own business!

Now, show us all who's Boss.
