Do you love horror movies as much as we do? Horror is such an inspiring genre of film because you really have the freedom to do almost anything. James Wan is a director that is at the top of his craft right now so how did The Conjuring 3 fare without him at the helm? Did the Quiet Place 2 live up to the success of the first film? Well, welcome to the first episode of Cinescussion, our names are Dillon and Fortune and we are your hosts. Please sit back, relax, and join us as we take a deep dive into what we love most about good horror.
Any audio issues will be addressed in our second episode. We hope you all enjoy the first episode and we are extremely excited to keep producing new content for all of you.
Film Discussed:
The Conjuring 3 The Devil Made Me Do It | A Quiet Place 2

The world of Miyazaki is absolutely breathtaking and... well both worlds are...sigh. OK, so there are really two Miyazaki's, and we will be discussing both of them this episode, along with our first guest Josef Wilke, AKA: HashtagSpooky! He is a good friend and colleague who works as a video editor, content creator, and game streamer. Spooky has also published graphic novels and currently has other projects in the works. The main topics of this episode are Miyazaki Hidetaka's Elden Ring and Miyazaki Hayao's Studio Ghibli films. Find a comfy chair, car, or hell, maybe a bed and join us as we glide through the worlds of the Miyazaki's.
Projects Discussed: Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki Hidetaka, Miyazaki Hayao, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Princess Mononoke, Ki Ki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, The Wind Rises

There are many disappointing movies out there and then there are movies that are just the worst but...sometimes it's not that simple. In fact, some terrible movies are more entertaining than good ones, so we decided to have an experiment based on a suggestion from one of our previous guests, Josef Wilke, where we recommend terrible films to each other that we enjoy because they are so bad, they are good to us. It led to some interesting reactions...so join us as we suffer through these horrendous films and attempt to cope with laughter. We also discuss Everything Everywhere All At Once, which we LOVED.
Films Discussed: Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Island of Dr. Moreau, An American Werewolf in Paris, The Wicker Man (2006), Catwoman
2022

We each chose three films that we think are underrated by the critics and audiences around the world and we recommended them to each other. It gave birth and new meaning to film directors, uniquely bold storytelling, and indie filmmaking as we know it today.
