Was it what she wore? Something she said? Does this one sound stupid? For female sexual assault victims you know including maybe yourself, women were living and acting like everyday people when “it” happened. In film director Joshua Reeves’ new work set in his hometown of Manchester, Long Walk Home, he explores a realistic fictional event of how assault happens more to black women in the UK and the racism experienced by many in stop and search.

Mainstream business and the film industry overlap a LOT, so get ready to learn something that will help you! Jonathan Wolff is one of the only living composers whose work is recognisable and popular with people who don't follow the film and television scoring industry. Composing TV music themes for "Seinfeld" and "Will & Grace" and working on many handfuls of other shows you watched growing up at times, sometimes appearing on camera as an actor, Mr. Wolff learned in his illustrious career about creating your own opportunities. Follow Mr. Wolff online at @seinfeldmusicguy on Instagram and visit his website, SeinfeldMusicGuy.com.

I posted my first Harry Potter film review on my website hours before J.K. Rowling ranted for the millionth time about trans people. Nevertheless, enjoy my reviews of each film and the marketing around them.

Podcast Q&A

Why did you start this show?

Audio interviews were occasionally something that happened in the process of interviewing people for my website articles. I thought, "Why not have a show around it?" Listening to people in their own words feels so much cooler.

What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?

That entertainment industry professions are real jobs worthy of paydays. People think you show up and barely work, that you don't spend years, if not decades, of your life developing the necessary skills, resumes, abilities, and work ethics. They look at a director earning millions of dollars without seeing the years that someone sacrificed and the many broke days of debt before that happened.

What is your vision for your show?

My podcast is a living time capsule. I am going to interview as many people as possible for it because you never know when someone is going to pass away. A bit bleak thinking that way, but it's true. What is someone died in a month and you never got to learn anything from that person? My hope is centuries from now, these podcast episodes are all used often in archives about this time period.

How did you come up with the name for your podcast?

BMI, my performing rights organization for my music, created my CinematNIC brand name. When I was signing up as a publisher, they made me submit three different ideas. One was "CinematNIC Music." It got picked. Soon, the rest of everything I did held the moniker of CinematNIC.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a film score composer, film director, actress and musician. You could say I got into filmmaking because I wanted to score my own work and have the final say.
