Cinema Recall - PTA Meetings: Punch Drunk Love 2002
play

01/25/22 • 63 min

Back in the early 2000's, I'll admit it was odd seeing Adam Sandler in a dramatic like role. I mean this was the same guy who made a song about famous Jewish people, had to repeat elementary school, got into a fight with a game show host, and was even the son of Satan at one time too.

So when Paul Thomas Anderson hired Adam Sandler as the lead for his new movie, a lot of people including myself was surprised to see what would happen with this collaboration. Well I'm here to say that it was so joyous, a bit odd and dark at points but so very heart warming and endearing.

I'm so happy to bring on two new guests to talk about Punch - Drunk Love with me.
