My favorite Mainer phrases:
- "From Away" - from somewhere elsewhere than Maine
- "Flatlander" - someone raised at low altitude
- "Happier than a clam at high tide" - happy
- "Tighter than a bark on a tree" - tight
- "All stove to hell" - in bad shape
