Are The Words in the Bible God's Words?
Dr. Dennis Hall, ordained minister, begins by pointing out that surveys demonstrate that only one in four Americans believe that the Bible is the literal word of God. He looks at the things that point to the understanding that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. Most Americans downplay the role that God had in the creation of the Bible. He points out that many Christians experience the confirmation that the Bible is the Word of God through the conviction of the Holy Spirit that lives within them. Dr. Hall proceeds to explain the ways that Jesus presents the Old Testament as the inspired Word of God. Jesus charged his disciples to be the messengers to carry the Gospel of Truth to the world by creating the New Testament and that he would leave the Holy Spirit to guide and teach them. Dr. Hall provides ample logic and evidence that the Bible is the literal Word of God.

Christian Nationalists-Biblical?
Dr. Dennis Hall examines the Christian Nationalist movement in America. The January 6 riot at the capitol is used to demonstrate the behavior of these individuals who wrapped themselves in Christian flags and carried Bibles as they stormed the chambers of the duly elected government officials. He uses Romans 13 to illustrate what the Bible has to say about this conduct and then addresses the question of when civil disobedience is justified for Christians. The dangers of the messianic pretense of Christian Nationalism are outlined. The importance of separation of church and state for our nation and for Christianity is part of this presentation. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian values and principles, but our forefathers never intended America to be a Christion country. The podcast ends with the warning that Christians have no business joining Chaotic political protests wrapped in Christian flags, carrying Bibles, that this is not the way of the Lord.
