Church? Hell No

Ordained minister Dennis Hall and Jeremy Dooley, Pastor for Students, NorthPointe Baptist Church, Burleson, TX focus on generation Z (under 30) in this conversation. Baby boomers cannot remember a world without TV, Millennials cannot remember a world without computers, and generation Z cannot remember a world without constant immediate access to the web. Generation Z is called the first post-Christian generation in America. Their opinions are heavily influenced by social media. They are inclusive and want fairness for all. The questions they have about Christianity may be good for the faith. Generation Z is unimpressed by verbal presentations of the gospel and wants to see people living out the gospel in authentic healing relationships. This generation is the future of our nation and our churches.

Murder in the Hood

Pastor Dennis Hall and his guest Pastor George Whirley, New Creation Restoration Church and Prison Ministry, Indianapolis, IN discuss the increasing crime and violence plaguing the major cities across the US. The implications of poverty, drugs and alcohol, and fatherless homes are addressed. The focus of gangs and the role these groups play in the violence is part of this discussion. Are we our brother's keeper is a question raised by Cain's talk with God after murdering his brother Abel. This discussion answers that question. In inner city neighborhoods that have a high percentage of church attendance crime is almost nonexistent.
