One of the first things God taught me when I started full time ministry is that He does not need a (P.R.) Public Relations spokesman, meaning that, I don’t need to constantly try to always put everything in the best, most acceptable, light possible. Nor do I need to constantly try to shade and pervert the word of God to make it more digestible to the lactose intolerant masses. All I have to do is say what God tells me to say, and let the words of God rest upon their own authority. The wisdom of this is that if you are continually trying to water down the truth to make it easier for people to accept, you have actually sold them on a false Gospel filled with half-truths. But the world has convinced many that a Christian is always perceived as sweet and quiet as a church mouse. They never offend and never make people feel uncomfortable. They are to always know their place and never bring their faith into the public square. They should keep it at home and within the church. The greatest error Christians have been led to believe is that they must be invited to present the truth, and need permission to have a chair at the table of life. If you’re a “good little Christian ”, you can be allowed to be around the “cool kids!” We have been taught to forsake our saltiness and put out our lights. BUT NO MORE, BROTHERS AND SISTERS! This is not God’s way and we have not been told to hold our tongue. We must be motivated by the love of God, and speak the hard truths in love to a dying world. There are time and seasons for all things. Sometimes being patient and enduring is the best path. But we should never perceive it as the only path. As we studied in our “Baby Jesus Syndrome” Bible Study, Jesus was no easy going preacher, nor was Paul, or Peter, etc. There is a time to be loud with boldness and a direct delivery of the truth. That is what this Bible study is about today. Being willing to be Bold As Lions , not victim-riddled sheep too scared of the world to speak the truth in love. So, do you fear God or Man? Your words will reveal the truth.

FOCUS VERSES Part1: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 “Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him, we ask you (2) not to be quickly shaken in your mind, and not be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as if from us, saying that the day of Christ has already come. (3) Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the rebellion [Meaning: Apostasy- defection from the truth] comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction, (4) he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped; so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.”

The Satanic deception has not stopped since the very foundation of the earth. He hasn’t changed his tactics and schemes. They are the same as they always have been. This is why we are warned to be wise to the tricks of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11 “Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”

Even right after Jesus went into heaven, the Anti-Christ Spirit was active within the church. Satan was trying to pervert the true Gospel From the start.

1 John 2:18-19 “Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that THE antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. We know from this that it is the last hour. (19) They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us, because if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But they went out from us to demonstrate that all of them do not belong to us.”

All these renowned Anti-Christ actors, defying the one true God, are just forerunners of the truth: “The Man of Sin, The Son of Perdition, The Lawlessness One, The Anti-Christ.” Much like John the Baptizer was the kingly herald of Jesus our Messiah. What is going on right now across the entire planet is heralding the soon coming and the manifestation of the Man of Sin, The true Son of Perdition. Yes, THE Anti-Christ!

What’s In A Name? What about the name: “Jesus”? It’s like the saying goes: “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Or, must you call it a “Rose” for it to retain the flowers beauty and aroma? So if someone says they believe in Jesus, are they automatically to be considered a brother or sister in Christ? As we have learned, there are false brethren and false teachers, etc. Is the name “Jesus” enough to accurately identify whom they are talking about? The “Sacred Name Movement” declares that you must focus on perfect pronunciation of the correct name to receive salvation. Moreover, if you can correctly pronounce the supposed correct name, can you still be lost? If it’s just saying: “I believe in Jesus” that matters, because they say a name, then what about all those people in different countries? They don’t call Him “Jesus” in their native tongue, so would they be lost because they didn’t get the word right? Conversely, if all you have to do is get the name right, then you are saved- just because you say the “name”, and not because of your relationship with the person you claim to believe in? Then how does that make you any better than Satan? As the Bible says, even the devil believes and trembles at His name. Christians must understand that Biblically speaking, names are titles with authority and honor bestowed upon them based upon the one who gives the name. They have deeper meaning beyond the mere combinations of letters. Without this second layer of meaning, the name is void of any and all power. So, when we say the name “Jesus”, it is more important to focus on Who it represents and the second layer of meaning. For you can not accurately refer to anyone without the context of the relationship between the two parties. For example: if I say “Bob is my friend”, well, what “Bob” are you talking about? There are hundreds of thousands of “Bobs” in the world. Even if I randomly point at a Bob and say, “I know that one.” Would that Bob claim to know me? Very unlikely! Therefore, there must be a relationship at the core of the claim of the Name Jesus. Do you know Him? Does He know you? If it’s a “Yes” and it the Jesus of the Bible, this activates the deep meaning of His name: the second layer of power and honor given to Him by God! Then, extending to the believer all the benefits of the relationship- forgiveness, salvation, and a way to our Heavenly Father. #Son Of Perdition #Satan #Prophecy #Bible Study #Jesus

Focus Verse: Matthew 7:1-5 “Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. (2) For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. (3) Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? (4) Or how will you tell your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye;’ and behold, the beam is in your own eye? (5) You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye.”

Before we go any further, is Jesus telling us to never remove the plank out of others eyes? No, He did not say that. He said to get yourselves right, then you can see clearly to help others. As we see Paul expressing the same concept:
Romans 2:1-3 “Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things. (2) We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. (3) Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?”
So, as we can clearly “SEE”, there is nuance and perspective that needs to be understood to fully grasp at exactly what Jesus was saying.
The first step to unravel this ball of yarn is to look at what the word “Judge” actually means. Most take it to mean to make a determination of wrong or right, good and evil, concerning another’s actions. Yet, we find it is not a determination of wrong and right, yet more like a condemning of an individual’s soul. We can look at a murderer and determine that is wrong, and let them know they are a murderer. But we are not God and cannot tell them that they can never receive salvation after the murder.
