I brought on a guest to discuss these topics from a Christian perspective to better understand how we can make sense of these interesting topics. We discuss what its like to be an empathic person, how it may be a spiritual gift, and how it differs from psychic mediums.

Paul H. Smith - Remote Viewing and Project Stargate

Paul Smith is the longest serving controlled remote viewing (CRV)* teacher active today, Paul H. Smith began his career as a remote viewing instructor in 1984. He served for seven years in the government’s Star Gate remote viewing program at Ft. Meade, MD (from September 1983 to August 1990). Starting in 1984, he became one of only five Star Gate personnel to be personally trained as remote viewers by the legendary founders of remote viewing, Ingo Swann and Dr. Harold E. Puthoff at SRI-International. Paul was the primary author of the government RV program’s CRV training manual, and served as theory instructor for new CRV trainee personnel, as well as source recruiting officer, unit security officer, and unit historian. He went on to teach controlled remote viewing to such well-known remote viewing personalities as Lyn Buchanan, Mel Riley and David Morehouse. Paul is credited with over a thousand training and operational remote viewing sessions during his time with Star Gate.
What is remote viewing? Remote viewing is a mental skill. Remote viewing is a new way of “being psychic.” Remote viewing is an experimental technique for doing research into extrasensory perception (ESP). Remote viewing is all these things, and more.
When, in late 1995, the CIA revealed remote viewing to the general public, many people were fascinated by the possibilities. But they were often unsure just what remote viewing was. Many still are.
So let’s start off this way: Remote viewing is a mental faculty that allows a perceiver (a “viewer”) to receive impressions from a target that is otherwise not accessible to normal senses. The target being perceived might be hidden by distance, time, or shielding. For example, a viewer might be asked to describe a location on the other side of the world, which he or she has never visited; or describe an event that happened long ago; or describe an object sealed in a container or locked in a room; or perhaps even describe a person or an activity; all without being told anything about the target — not even its name or category.

Joye is the daughter of the late Stella and CB Jeffries III. She was married to Melville Eugene Pugh for 33 years until his passing in March of 2018. She resides in Douglas, Georgia.
Dr. Pugh has written many books, has an audio edition of one of her books, as well as, an album of her original songs. She was a contracted author with Tate Publishing through 2016. Dr. Joye Pugh, as of May 2017, became a new contracted author with Sacred Word Publishing.
