Homeschooling is a rewarding and challenging journey that often intertwines with the bittersweet experience of watching our children grow up. As moms, we invest our time, energy, and love into nurturing our children's minds and hearts. However, there comes a point when we must face the reality that our little ones are growing up, gaining independence, and taking steps toward their own futures.
This process can evoke a range of emotions, including sadness Let's explore some tips on how to navigate these seasons of sadness while supporting our children's growth.

Bits of advice from Nicole for new homeschool moms:
-Get clear about why you’re doing it
-Get buy-in from your spouse and your children
-Kids grow and change, so really get to know who your kids are and who they are becoming
-If you can’t find a homeschool group, consider building your own
-Use middle school grades to see what their interests are and allow them to explore their preferences
Advice for planning high school:
-Start with the end in mind Help them learn how to navigate basic life skills
-Be willing to build what is not available in your area
-If nothing is available locally in your area, start with a virtual group
