This week Angie and Stevens have a very special guest, Craig, from Awaiting Christ. Craig discusses how he came to know Jesus, how he met Stevens, and and some of the things that. Christians on X, formerly known as Twitter, are confronted with and why some of those conversations should be avoided, or had privately. Additionally, they briefly discuss eschatology, a topic both Craig, Angie and Stevens agree, is part of the gospel that Jesus taught. Find Craig’s links at www.linktr.ee/AwaitChrist and find us at www.linktr.ee/ChristAlone. For questions, suggestions and prayer request call/text 407-796-2881. This week Angie and Stevens answer some questions that were raised to them personally and on social media. Stevens explains some of his current arguments for the existence of God that are directly supported by science and philosophy. In the process Angie has trouble saying “Kalam cosmological”, and has difficulty seeing how in the ontological argument you get from the first premise to the last. Can you figure it out? It’s ok if you do not understand, it took Stevens studying the ontological argument for several days and watching explanatory videos on it for him to understand it. I think it is a safe bet that Angie and Stevens will tackle this argument in greater detail sometime in the future. You can also just ask questions on social media or directly at 407-796-2881. Angie and Stevens are back this week discussing some issues Stevens has found when talking to atheists and agnostics. Stevens claims they redefine what the word “faith” means and how it is used. Stevens floors on to explain that many non-theists use the word faith when the really mean to say “blind faith”. Faith and blind faith are not interchangeable terms and Angie and Stevens explain why. Additionally, Stevens has found that atheists in particular l, not all, but some, are clinging to an aspect of intellectual laziness when opting to refuse to give a reason for their negative claim, stating that the burden of proof is exclusive to the person making the positive claim and not the negative claim. In this case, the positive being, “God does exist”, and the negative being, “God does not exist”. As Stephen Law, PhD in an article he wrote in, “Psychology Today”, on 09-15-2011, says and Stevens has now adopted, “assuming that a negative claim cannot be proven is folk logic”. This week Angie and Stevens discuss some of the archeological evidence that supports Christianity. Some of the evidence directly supports various books of the Bible that coincide with biblical historical account, thus supporting its authenticity. This week Angie and Stevens discuss how every Christian is called to be an apologist. This adds to the fact that by default, every disciple of Christ is not just a believer, but also an apologist. Would Angie and Stevens accept that God does not exist if it could be proven? How would they take that? They also answer these questions and encourage everyone to explore truth. Stevens challenges people who live by evidence to look at the evidence that supports the life death and resurrection of Jesus and the authenticity of the Bible. Angie and Stevens provide two sources outside of Christianity that historically supports what the Bible said about Jesus. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/christalone/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/christalone/support

This week Angie and Stevens continue their talk about the importance of every Christian exercising apologetics. Why is every Christian called to be an apologist? Why is it so important? How do we do that? Where can a Christian start their pursuit and study of apologetics? Why “the reason I believe in God is because of my experience and faith”, not a good enough argument outside the Christian circles? --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/christalone/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/christalone/support

This week Angie and Stevens talk a little bit about the atheist delusion. No, it’s not a new book, though it should be, and maybe Stevens should write it. Stevens explains why most atheists live contrary to their own belief system. Stevens goes on to say that a true atheist has no option but to abandon any and all moral standards, and commit to living without fear and in acceptance of any and all consequences. Stevens elaborates that by his guess, about 99% of atheists are actually agnostic at heart because even though they intellectually reject the existence of a creator, they whole heartedly do not want a creator to exist, thus the atheist delusion, ironically has to do more with the heart and less with the mind. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/christalone/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/christalone/support
