Between 2016 and 2020, technology-related foreign direct investment between the United States and China has fallen by 96%, according to research from Bain & Company. In a section of the company’s annual Technology Report, Karen Harris coauthored a piece about how US-China FDI in technology has plummeted and how that decoupling will affect companies moving forward.
