In episode 26 of CC, we wanted to highlight and bring to light the recent case of Vanessa Guillen. Vanessa hit home for a lot of reasons and we saw ourselves (and many others) in her story and thought it was important to bring up the topic of sexual harassment. We dove deep into the details of her case, sexual assault/sexual harassment in the military specifically, as well as in society. There is a link in our linktree to Vanessa’s gofundme and the petition to sign for the #iamvanessagullien bill, please check them out! (*trigger warning: we do talk about assault, murder, r*pe and various other serious topics*)

Hello beautiful people! We wanted to celebrate and encapsulate the importance of the BIPOC side of the LGBTQ+ community by going over media representation, queer icons, and of course personal stories. We hope you had a pride month full of love, support, and validation. We also wanted to remind you that Chica Chats is a safe place and a place of acceptance!

Hello my beautiful people, now that we as a society are discussing and confronting anti-blackness in our society and cultures, we thought it would be an appropriate time for us to dissect and question this very issue. In "The African in You They Tried to Erase", we highlight the history of both Afro-Mexicans and Afro-Colombians and how in the world it took a pandemic, national wide protests and the Afro-Latinx movement for us to talk about the importance of black people in our cultures. Take a shot every time we sigh, yell, and stumble on our words in disbelief on what we found - we got really passionate! We also added a link in our linktree for all things Black Lives Matter, so go check that out!

We can not continue along with our days or lives without acknowledging what is going on in the world right now - the pain, the suffering, and injustices the black community has faced are being put on the front line for all to see and we can no longer ignore them. We are joining #podcastblackout to be a voice among many in brining light and honor to the black lives that have been lost to police brutality and law enforcement. Please listen to their names, feel the value of their lives, and realize once in for all that there is no peace if there is no justice. Stay safe.

Hello, my fellow meat bags! In this week's episode we dive into our relationships with food and body image. We dissect what it's like to have a not so healthy relationship with food and our bodies during quarantine, it gets a little serious and kinda sad to be honest, but it's a conversation that must be had! We hope you guys find comfort in our discussion and you leave with a better perspective!

Hey, y'all this episode is super laid back, so we decided to dress in our jammies and play "Truth or Shot". We talked all things quarantine, armpit fetishes, and how horrible our government is (what's new?). Hope you guys enjoy our nonsense!

Hey sweeties! We wanted to make this episode more laidback and in that process we created “Clitoris of the Heart”! Where we get way too personal about our love lives and of course (in real Kendy and Rocio fashion) we get deep and introspective on trust, communication and being held accountable!
